I'm so very disappointed in this funeral home. I have my husband, both sets of grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and my own mother buried in this cemetery. My husband and I purchased the pre-needs, burial arrangements, and headstone for both of us in 2016 Had I known we would have such poor service after his funeral, I would not have purchased it. I realize Covid affected lots of things but should not have had any effect on the cemetery spaces already there. My mom, grandmother, and grandpa are all in the same plots next to each other. I planned to put flowers on her grave when I went to put flowers on my husband's grave and also on my grandparent's graves next to hers, but even though I know where she is supposed to be, we could not find the graves. Finally, my daughter located it after we had looked awhile. This is supposed to be a perpetual care cemetery, but there's no way the graves are taken care of. If they were watered, mowed around and otherwise taken care of, we wouldn't have so much trouble. The grass had grown over the grave where my mother is and there are large cracks in the ground that are dangerous when I was walking trying to find my mom. What happened to watering, mowing, and filling in the low places in the ground? I'm 78 years old so walking on the ground where I can't see holes in the ground is so dangerous anyway. I nearly fell a couple of times because there were low places that came up to my ankle. I was just out there a few months ago and brought it to their attention, and I was told they would look into it, but I guess they didn't. My mom passed away 22 years ago, but I don't care if it was 22 days ago, the graves should be taken care of. I still didn't find my other grandparents, but it was getting dark, so for safety's sake, I had to leave. My other grandfather passed away 45 years ago. Meanwhile, they are opening up more spaces when they don't take care of the ones they have. I have vented and gave my 2 cents worth so think before you buy here.
